Send me your suggestions and let me know if you have a book to suggest for our next meeting in April. We will send out a list of suggestions next week and from peoples responses chose a new book to read.

Motorcycles, Madness & Miracles - A Badass Journey to Empowerment, a book Rowen Glaser wrote after attending a Pachamama Awaken the Dream Symposium. He wrote about his career in painting motorcycles, Native American wisdom, how to heal holes that result from trauma, and ensuring clean air, water, and food for the next 7 generations.
The Green Boat - Mary Pipher - Explores how individuals can conquer their fear about climate change and turn it into action. Mary a practicing psychologist and author worked with her community in Nebraska on the fight against Keystone XL.
This Changes Everything Naomi Kline How to rein in corporate power and rebuild local economies
The Soil will save us Kristen Ohlson - How Scientists, Farmers and Goodies are healing the soil to save the planet, rebuilding the soil and sequestering carbon
BRAIDING SWEETGRASS: INDIGENOUS WISDOM, SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE, AND THE TEACHINGS OF PLANTS. Robin Wall Kimmerer Robin is Potawatomi and a botanist, and she brings these lenses of knowledge together in a book that "captures the true reverence between Native Americans and the earth, the relationship that we need in order to survive"
